Our tanks are made from AS/NZS 4020:2006 certified food-grade, BPA-free material and are suitable for storage of potable water.
For additional information on use of rainwater for drinking please consult your local council or water authority.
Regular maintenance of your rainwater tank is recommended to keep debris and pests out. As a guide:
- Tanks should be inspected for accumulation of sludge every 5-10 years
- Regular maintenance inspections should be undertaken every 6 months
- Regular cleaning of the leaf strainer, if being used as an inlet, needs to be at least every 3 months
- If a wet system is used it also needs to be drained at least ever 3 months
It is also important to keep roofs and gutters clean as this will impact on water quality.

It incorporates the suburb previously known as Koongarra Park. == History == Magill was first established as the 524-acre (2.12 km2) Makgill Estate, owned by two Scotsmen, Robert Cock and William Ferguson, who met en route to the newly founded colony of South Australia when sailing out from Portsmouth on HMS Buffalo. They formed a partnership as a carrier and merchant following their arrival on 28 December 1836, and purchased Section 285, which was named after Cock's trustee, David M. Makgill. The estate's homestead was built in 1838 by Ferguson, who was charged with farming the estate. Soon after farming commenced the two were short of cash, and thus Magill became the first foothill village to be subdivided. The name change from Makgill to Magill occurred in the late 1940s, for reasons unknown. == Description == Magill has a population of 8,861 and straddles two councils, with its northern portion within the City of Campbelltown and the southern part within the City of Burnside boundary.The suburb is home to one of the Penfolds Wineries, the University of South Australia Magill Campus and the historic Murray Park Estate.
