Our tanks are made from AS/NZS 4020:2006 certified food-grade, BPA-free material and are suitable for storage of potable water.
For additional information on use of rainwater for drinking please consult your local council or water authority.
Regular maintenance of your rainwater tank is recommended to keep debris and pests out. As a guide:
- Tanks should be inspected for accumulation of sludge every 5-10 years
- Regular maintenance inspections should be undertaken every 6 months
- Regular cleaning of the leaf strainer, if being used as an inlet, needs to be at least every 3 months
- If a wet system is used it also needs to be drained at least ever 3 months
It is also important to keep roofs and gutters clean as this will impact on water quality.

Largs North is essentially a residential suburb, with a minor harbourside presence on the eastern side of the suburb. == Facilities == The local high school is Ocean View College Gedville Campus, in nearby Taperoo. There is a nursing home on Victoria Road and an RSL club on Carnarvon Terrace. Largs North Oval overlooking Victoria Road is the main outdoor recreational reserve in the suburb.
